Terms of Service
Effective date: October 29, 2026
These Terms of Service apply to our website, saboauto.com, and to the auto repair services provided by Sabo Automotive Repair Inc. (“Sabo,” “we,” “us”). By using our website or booking a service with us, you agree to these terms.
1. Our website
Our website gives general information about our shop, services, hours and products. We work to keep it accurate, but services, hours, offers and product information can change without notice. Nothing on the website is a price quote or a guarantee of a specific repair result. Your written estimate and invoice are what apply to your vehicle.
Our website links to other websites, including our online booking provider (VIP Shop Management), Google, CARFAX, LIQUI MOLY, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. Those websites have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content.
2. Appointments and online booking
You can book by phone, in person, or online through our booking page, which is operated by VIP Shop Management. An online booking is a request until we confirm it. If you need to cancel or change an appointment, please call us at (718) 377-2323.
3. Estimates and your approval
- We give you an estimate before starting repairs, and we do not perform work you have not approved.
- If we find that additional work is needed, we will contact you for approval before doing it.
- Estimates are based on the information available at the time. Final charges are shown on your invoice.
4. Diagnostics
Diagnosing a problem takes technician time and equipment, and diagnostic charges apply even if you decide not to go ahead with the repair. A deposit taken for diagnosis is applied to that work and is not refundable once diagnosis has started. Clearing a warning light or trouble code during testing does not repair the underlying problem, and the light may come back.
5. Parts and fluids
- We supply the parts and fluids for the work we perform, so we can make sure they meet the correct specifications and so our work can be covered. We do not install customer-supplied parts or fluids.
- Parts may be new OEM (original equipment), aftermarket, or remanufactured. Your estimate shows which type is being used.
- If you cancel a repair after parts have been ordered, a restocking fee of up to 40% of the parts cost may apply, as stated in our shop policy.
6. Payment and vehicle pickup
Payment is due when the work is completed and before the vehicle is released. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Zelle, cash, and financing where available. As allowed by New York law, we may keep a vehicle until the invoice is paid. Please pick up your vehicle promptly after we tell you it is ready; storage charges may apply to vehicles left at the shop, as explained at the time of service.
7. Warranty
Any warranty on parts and labor is described on your repair order or invoice. Warranties do not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, lack of maintenance, or repairs done by another shop. To make a warranty claim, contact us and bring the vehicle to our shop so we can inspect it.
8. Your belongings
Please remove valuables from your vehicle before leaving it with us. We are not responsible for personal items left in vehicles.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Sabo is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages related to the use of our website. Our responsibility for repair work is limited to the warranty on your invoice and to what New York law requires.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under New York consumer protection or motor vehicle repair laws.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed.
